The fact is though that there's nothing exceptional about this sort of behaviour: look closer and you'll see all sorts of lowlifes treating the sidewalk like it's their personal spittoon for example. Using mobile phones driving a car in the UK is illegal because it endangers other people but there are no end of the genuine crud you see using them anyway. My own conclusion is that the human race is chiefly made up of scum - that may seem strong but I genuinely stick by it.
